Naruto is Manga. I think that the term is self-explanatory. However, Kishimoto takes what works in his story about a young mischievous nobody that becomes the #1 most unpredictable ninja! An underlying theme to all of this is that he is always heart first, everything else later. His driving narrative is a story about the forces of friendship and how they can pull you out of any darkness and make you a better you.

Naruto, after the time skip, really ramps up the action and the memorable battles. The first part of the huge puppet ninjas is in this volume and it's GREAT.

It was so much fun to get back into reading naruto again. This volume does a time jump and we see that the cast has aged five years. When one of their friends Gaara is kidnapped, Naruto and his team are on a rescue mission.

I love the action in this series. I'm so excited for the next volumes.
