I've really enjoyed this book series and this continues on into volume 4. We finally get to see how "Laughing Coffin" has been working behind the scenes to push the guilds to fight each other.

Most importantly, I enjoyed that the first half of the book was from Asuna's viewpoint. I really hope that the author continues to do this in the future.

    Always makes me happy.

Another good addition to the progressive series. There was less action than I was hoping for, but it was somewhat made up for the continuation of sub plots. One of the things I was most excited for was the boss battle; again I felt it was somewhat lacking in action, but the idea of the boss was quite well done.

I gave this book 4 stars overall, but will definitely continue to read this series.

Was a great addition to the progressive series. Loved the continued development between Kirito and Asuna, as well as more time given to Argo. Good to see old characters continue to come up and new ones introduced

Fun and entertaining, as usual. I really like the floor-by-floor approach, even if it goes against the originally established canon. I feel like it allows Kirito and Asuna's relationship to grow more naturally and I love meeting new characters.

This book finally feels like the missing portions of Asuna and Kirito's relationship - how they came to care so deeply for each other in the main series. Plus Kawahara is a much stronger writer now than when he wrote the initial series. He's still not great, and he's still not terrific at writing from Asuna's point of view (although he is aware of it, at least a bit), but SAOP is still light years ahead of SAO's early volumes.

How much do I love the SAOP novel series? If you have to ask . . .

I love Asuna and Kirito. They just make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside as they battle a death game for their lives. The jokes and teasing and the poor communication skills from Kiritos side are too hilarious. And I really liked the creative boss battle and Asunas fight. I did miss the Dark Elves quest. Wish their had been more story to tell from there.

I've been enjoying the story so much.

In the progressive novels Asuna and Kirito's relationship grows more clearly. I thought the anime love story was excellent but the novels are giving a richer and deeper bond between the two characters.

The threat of the PK'ers starts to grow. We come across our first traditional dungeon in this book. I love that we get to read about the boss battle this time. I love the details and the concepts the author is creating. I just finished this book, and I want to
